In order to ensure that the user can get to the pertinent candidate information as quickly as possible, it is now possible for a super user to configure both a short candidate summary and a long candidate summary for the organisation. This will allow the company to define what fields appear on these two summaries.
The short candidate summary is what the header section on the candidate profile record was previously.
The long candidate summary is a new page that has been added to the system allowing fields from across the rest of the tabs in the candidate profile to be combined onto this one page, thus giving the user all the relevant information on one page. The user can then choose to set this as the default landing page when they visit a candidate profile.
Short Candidate Summary
Go to Settings à Configuration tool and choose the ‘Configuration Short Summary’ option
By default, the short summary will have a number of fields already defined, but the super user can choose to remove these fields and replace them with the fields of their choice.
The top section of the summary has 6 available slots that are reserved just for name fields
The main body of the summary has a maximum of 15 slots, over 3 columns, where fields can be placed.
Fields should be placed on the short summary by dragging and dropping them from the available list on the left hand side of the page.
Once the relevant fields have been chosen and subsequently saved, then these will be reflected on the candidate summary, as per the example below.
This short candidate summary will be at the top of every candidate profile.
In addition, by hovering over any candidate profile link in the system, this short candidate summary will appear to the user in a pop-up, allowing the user to see pertinent candidate information without having to navigate to the main candidate profile, thus making the use of the system more efficient for the user. By moving the cursor away from the candidate profile link, the pop-up will disappear. See the screenshot below.
