Job Creator/Initiator/Requestor

Creates new job requisition

• Initiates job requisition, completes minimum required fields, and submits job requisition

Direct/Hiring Manager

Shared accountability in collaborating with recruiters to recruit

• Reviews applicants’ resumes

• Reviews interviewers’ assessments

• Makes a hiring selection from candidates interviewed

• Attends interviews

• Provides interview feedback

HR/Recruitment

Proactively supports the delivery and provokes positive changes in the HR Recruitment process. Fully responsible for the development of the recruitment process and the implementation of recruitment innovations.

• Initiates job requisition, completes minimum required fields, and submits job requisition

• Making and finalising of job offers

• Searches for additional candidates

• Recruits personally the key talents for the organization from its internal pool or external sources

Internal recruiter
(Internal Mobility / External Release)

Is a staff member of the company or organization and typically works in the HR Department, serving in a role focusing in recruiting. The main role is to filter candidates as per the requirements of the job. He/she typically manages and leads the recruitment process.

• Completes recruiter requisition fields and posts job requisition internally, externally, or both

• Searches for additional candidates within the talent pool

• Fill up a job position in the shortest possible time

• Reviews all internal and external candidates

• Attracting, screening and selecting qualified candidate for the job

• Matching candidates to job requirements and screening individuals using screening questions

• Moves applicants to the next stage in the recruitment process who have met minimum qualifications

• Schedules interviews

• Searches for additional candidates and invites them to apply to the job position

• Initiates offer approval process

• Closes job requisition when candidate is hired

• Manages posting of job vacancies at the best performing recruitment channels (candidate source)

• Develops pool of internal and external talents

• Explores the new recruitment channels and give recommendations to the Direct/Hiring Manager

• Full utilization of the social media recruitment and the entire social media communication of HR

• Acts as a single point of contact for Direct/Hiring Managers regarding recruitment topics

• Designs training recruitment for the HR recruiters and Direct/Line managers

Interviewer

Solely responsible for conducting interviews, rating the candidates and providing feedbacks.

• Accepts interview schedules

• Attends interview

• Provide feedback on interviews

• Decide to accept/reject/refer the candidate to another position

Interviewer Final decision maker

Interviewer who is the final decision maker in whether to proceed with a candidate at the interview stage of the recruitment process.

• Accepts interview schedules

• Attends interview

• Provide feedback on interviews

• Decide to accept/reject/refer the candidate to another position

• Makes final decision about proceeding with a candidate within the interview cycle (first interview, second interview etc.).

Job requisition approver

Approvers for new job requisition in that cost centre he/she is responsible for.

• Review and approve job requisitions

Offer letter approver

Approvers of candidate offer letters prepared by HR.

• Review and approve candidate offer letters

Internal candidate

Internal employee submitted for a new job posted internally.

• Employee applying for the job posted internally

• Applies for job via the internal candidate portal

• Answers screening questions

• Accepts interview schedules

• Attends interviews based on scheduled time

• Decides to accept/reject offer

External candidate

Candidates from external sources applying for a job posted externally.

• Candidates from external postings, applying for the job posted externally

• Applies for job via the candidate portal

• Answers screening questions

• Decides to accept/reject offer

Agency

Agency firms for executive and professional positions.

• Identify, approach and recruit top performing candidates

• Submits the best talents (candidates) to the jobs they are working on

• Liaison between their Client (Recruiters) and talent pool (candidates)

• Arranges interview schedules
